GUIDE FOR AUTHORS ON SUBMISSION OF MANUSCRIPTS
A digital version of the Manuscript addressed:
Professor Maria Wacławek Editor-in-Chief
Proceedings of ECOpole
Manuscripts should be submitted in the MS Word format as a standard document (.doc).
The Editor assumes, that an Author submitting a paper for publication has been authorised to do that. It is understood that the paper submitted to be original and unpublished work, and is not being considered for publication by another journal. After printing, the copyright of the paper is transferred to Society for Ecological Chemistry and Engineering (Towarzystwo Chemii i Inżynierii Ekologicznej).
Ghostwriting and guest authorship are a sign of scientific misconduct. To counteract them, please provide information, for the Editor, on the percentage contribution of individual Authors in the creation of publications (including the information, who is the author of concepts, principles, methods, etc.) - the form to fill in, one can find here.
Editorial Board believes that the main responsibility for those statements bears the Corresponding Author.
Editors had to expose any detected case of ghostwriting, guest authorship as well as plagiarism to the appropriate subjects.
In preparation of the manuscript please follow the general outline of papers published in the most recent issues of CDEM (published on this website). Papers submitted are supposed to be written in English and should include the title, an abstract and keywords in English as well as in Polish languages.
The first page should include the Author’s (Authors’) given name(s), their affiliations, phone and fax numbers and their email addresses.
It is urged to follow the units recommended by the Systéme Internationale d'Unites (SI). Graph axis labels and table captions must include the quantity units.
Symbols recommended by the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (Pure Appl Chem. 1979;51:1-41) are to be followed. Graphics (drawings, plots) should also be supplied in the form of digital vector-type files, eg CorelDraw, Excel, Inkscape or at least in a bitmap format (TIF, JPG). Tables should be numbered. They should have brief titles and column headings. The equations should be numbered in round brackets.
Authors should provide complete, correct and properly structured references. If the article/book has DOI number, the author should include it in the references. DOIs are easy to find. Most publishers, if they have them, place them at the top of the article front page. The DOI number makes it easy to find the paper.
All publications cited in the text should be presented in a list of References.
Journal titles should follow the Chem. Abstr. Service recommended abbreviations.
References cited chronologically should follow the examples given below:

Please remember that every sign in the references counts.
Each publication is evaluated by at least two independent Reviewers from outside of the unit. In the case of paper written in a foreign language, at least one of Reviewers is affiliated to a foreign institution other than the Author's work.
As a rule double-blind review process is used (the Author(s) and Reviewers do not know their identities). In any case Editor must be sure that no conflict of interest (direct personal relationships, professional relationships, or direct scientific cooperation in the past two years) occurs between the Reviewer and the Author.
Reviewer has to fill in the Reviewers report. On its end must be an explicit request to the approval of the article for publication or its rejection.
Receipt of a paper submitted for publication will be acknowledged by email. If no acknowledgement has been received, please check it with the Editorial Office by email, fax, letter or phone.
In the case of any query please feel free to contact with the Editorial Office.
